Dad’s Driving Tips That Save Fuel…and Money

My father could get more mileage from a gallon of gas than anybody I’ve ever known. He used get on to me for wasting fuel and constantly reminded me how much money I could save each year if I would just listen. The interesting thing about this….gas was 50 cents per gallon then. With today’s high fuel costs Dad’s tips mean more than ever. If he were alive today I think I could make him proud by not only using his tips but by reminding others of those things. Here are some of Dad’s tips. Some may sound a little far- fetched, but the older I get, the smarter my Dad was. I get the most out of my fuel dollars by following these guidelines.
